How can you help get the biggest yield out of limited space? Succession planting. When you’ve planned out your garden and you know how many square feet of each veggie you want, save space for succession seeding. This is the process of spacing out when you seed. For example, say you want to plant 2square feet of carrots. In your initial planting you will only seed one square foot, then the next week you will seed the second. By leaving time between seeding, you will help give yourself a more continuous harvest. By the time your first square foot is mature and ready for harvest, your second round will be right behind it when you’re ready for the harvest the next week!
